The space between the analogue and technology filled with glitched images channels the emotional rather than the physical.
By doing so, it becomes free from physical boundaries and social conventions.

Dystopia of the Mind (2020) – A 1080x1080 pixels, 72 DPI digital manipulation of 24 water colour paintings using Glitch and Mirror lab mobile application for android. Original size of each painting is A5, the digital image was created to fit the Instagram format and resolution.

Using an Instagram account under the name @Beatricevonmillhouse to show these images, I challenge the notion of the mask or filter within social media by displaying my interpretation of realism rather than idealism.
