U̐̐̐n͚͚i͓̊̊̊̊̊̊̊q̥̥̥̥̥u̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫̫ͧͧͧë́͌ (2021) is a single channel video, 0:40 seconds long, produced using AI Machine learning and Generative code. Following the process of layering, I used StyleGAN (Generative Adversarial Network) trained to produce images based on my own self portrait, when each image depicts an older version of the previous one. The images where then edited to create a flowing sequence. The top layer showing a projection of a portrait that repeats the word “unique” is operated by code, created in a similar process used in my work ‘A Dream of an Absent Mind’. The word Unique refers simultaneously to the uniqueness of each image in the sequence and to uniqueness of the viewer.
